Utah Class C CDL

An Utah Class C CDL is required for vehicles that don't meet the Class A or B weight thresholds but carry 16 or more passengers (including the driver) or transport hazardous materials requiring placards.

What you'll drive

• Small passenger vans (16+ seats)
• Smaller school buses
• Small placarded HazMat vehicles

Knowledge tests required

• General Knowledge
• Plus the matching endorsement test (Passenger or HazMat, depending on use).

Skills tests

• Pre-trip inspection
• Basic vehicle control
• On-road driving

Notes
