Hawaii CDL Practice Tests

Hawaii does not have a single statewide DMV. CDL standards are set by the Hawaii Department of Transportation's Motor Vehicle Safety Office. The four counties (Honolulu, Hawaii, Maui, Kauai) handle the actual testing and licensing. You can hold a Commercial Learner's Permit at 18 and a CDL at 21 in many county offices. Federal rules let you drive intrastate at 18; you must be 21 for interstate driving or hazardous materials.
