District of Columbia Class B CDL

A District of Columbia Class B CDL covers single vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 26,001 lbs or more, towing nothing over 10,000 lbs.

What you'll drive

• Straight trucks, large delivery trucks
• Dump trucks and concrete mixers
• City and tour buses, large school buses
• Garbage and utility trucks

Knowledge tests required

• General Knowledge
• Air Brakes (if your vehicle is air-braked)

Skills tests

• Pre-trip inspection
• Basic vehicle control
• On-road driving

Notes
